Software for domestic Gas engineers
GEForms: Built by a Gas Engineer, for Gas Engineers.
I didn’t build this app because I wanted to start a tech corporation.
I built it because I was tired of filling out carbon paper pads with freezing hands in dark airing cupboards, only for them to get crumpled up in the back of the van.
My name is John, and I’ve been an active, registered gas engineer for 35 years.
GEForms started out as a personal project on my iMac—a tool I designed simply to make my own working day easier, cleaner, and more professional.
Over months of testing on the job, it grew into a complete, cloud-synchronised ecosystem.
Here is exactly what it does, without the marketing fluff:
Digital Benchmark Forms: A responsive, 4-step commissioning checklist that lets customers sign their name smoothly on a full widescreen landscape canvas.
A4 Vector PDFs:
It generates point-locked, regulatory-compliant digital documents that you can text or email straight to the client before you even start the van engine.
Automated Retention Alerts: Saving a commissioning sheet automatically schedules a local smartphone reminder 11 months down the line, securing your annual service customers completely in the background [finance].
Cash-Flow Tracking: A simple invoicing ledger that automatically flags outstanding accounts as OVERDUE the exact day they cross the 30-day grace period threshold.
Technical Support Directory: A dedicated repository to save boiler manufacturer factory hotlines and manual links, so you can dial for technical support with a single tap.
GEForms is 100% independent. There are no corporate boardrooms, no hidden subscriptions, and no complicated setups. It’s just an airtight, robust software utility designed by a bloke in a van who understands exactly what your working day feels like.
Use it to run your business, drop the paper pads, and get your evenings back.
